Facts/Trivia
- He won a gold medal for cinematography at Chennai Film College. [3]The Times of India
- In an interview, he confessed that he never wanted to become an actor. He said,
Thorati is a film that delves into the lives of shepherds who walk miles in search of pasture for their goats and sheep. This story happens in a village. And the lead actor who plays a shepherd needed to look like one. Not many actors would be willing to take the risks involved in getting tanned, losing tons of weight and walking barefoot. So, I decided to take the plunge and do the role myself.”
- In 2019, he filed a petition alleging that his co-star Sathyakala in the Tamil film ‘Thorati’ (2019) was kept under house arrest by her family members in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. [4]DT Next
