Coffey Anderson was born on Friday, December 15, 1978 (age 42 years; as in 2020), and he hails from Bangs in Texas, United States. He graduated from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Career
Since childhood, Coffey Anderson was passionate about singing and used to sing in a church choir. During his college days, he created a buzz among his fellow students as his singing would attract them to come and listen. Later, he started performing country music in local opening slots for bands, and gospel music, a genre of Christian music, in local churches. In 2003, Coffey Anderson made his television debut with the American singing competition television series, American Idol in which he didn’t get too far.
In 2008, he was the third runner-up on the American reality television singing competition, Nashville Star.
Although the show helped him to gain a loyal fanbase, it did not attract any deals form the music recording companies. On Dec 21, 2013, he joined YouTube and started composing his own material. Anderson became popular via his YouTube videos where he sings lively renditions of original and cover materials. Some of his most popular YouTube videos include Memphis, Southern Man, Rock and Roll Sally, Can I?, and Better Today.
Later, in April 2010, Coffey signed a record deal with Los Angeles label Dream Records. He tours extensively around the country for stage concerts, church and public events, performances in fairs, rodeos, and live concerts and shows. He has also performed on various shows and channels, like Fox and Friends, Glenn Beck’s The Blaze, CMT, TBN, NBC, etc. In 2020, Country-Ish, a reality series that follows the lives of Coffey Anderson and his wife, Criscilla Anderson premiered on Netflix. The series showcases their life in Los Angeles while Criscilla Anderson who is battling cancer tries to manage her life and family.
