Television/Web Series
Shaji Choudhary started his journey in the television industry with a Star Plus show ‘Shaurya Aur Suhani’ (2009). In 2015, he played the role of ‘Inspector Anshuman Singh’ in a Zee TV television series ‘Doli Armaano Ki.’ While working in the television industry, Shaji got the opportunity to work in the web series ‘Mirzapur’ as ‘Maqbool’ and this role made him famous among the masses.
Film
Shaji made his debut in the Indian film industry with the movie ‘Husn Bewafa’ (2006) but his performance went unnoticed by the critics. In 2008, Shaji was signed by director Ashutosh Gowariker to play the role of Akbar’s general ‘Adham Khan’ in the historical drama ‘Jodha Akbar.’ He worked with Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in this movie. After this iconic role, he worked in several other movies like Action Jackson (2014), PK (2014), Mohenjo Daro (2016), Thugs of Hindostan (2018), etc.
