Career
He started his career as a theatre artist in Delhi. From 2006 to 2011, he worked with the Indian theatre director Arvind Gaur. He had a self-titled YouTube channel in which he uploaded videos related to various social issues. Rahul had made various videos with his wife Jyoti Tiwari on his YouTube channel.
In 2014, he appeared in the Netflix film ‘Unfreedom’ in which he played the role of a right-wing leader.
Death
In 2021, he was detected positive for the COVID-19 test and was admitted at the Rajeev Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, Tahirpur, but due to his deteriorating condition, he was shifted to Ayushman Hospital, Dwarka. While he was admitted in the hospital, he shared a Facebook post about his critical health condition, he wrote,
Mujhe bhi treatment acha mil jata, To main bhi bach jata tumhaara Irahul Vohra (If I would have gotten a prepare treatment, I would be save, your Irahul Vohra.”
He further added,
Jald janam lunga or acha kaam karunga. Ab himmat haar chuka hu (I will be born again and will do good deeds. I have lost my will now).”
His death news was confirmed by the theatre director-playwright Arvind Gaur, in a social media post, Arvind wrote,
He (Rahul) is gone. My talented actor is no more. It was only yesterday that he said his life could have been saved if he got proper treatment. He was shifted to Ayushman, Dwarka last evening but we could not save him. Please forgive us, we are all your culprits. My last respects.” ((Zee News))
