Lacey Chabert was born on Thursday, September 30, 1982 (age 38 years; as of 2020) in Purvis, Mississippi. Since childhood, she was inclined towards acting and secured herself a role in a cough syrup commercial at a very young age. In an interview, while sharing her childhood memories, she said,

First thing in the morning, Mom would open the back door and we’d dash out, making forts, dreaming up shows, racing through the sprinklers, bouncing on the trampoline. I would put on plays and musicals with my two older sisters and younger brother. We’d invite our grandparents, hand out programs, even serve snacks.”

At the age of seven, before making her debut on the big-screen she played the role of Cosette in the Broadway musical ‘Les Misérables’ for two years.

As a Voice Artist

In 1997, Lacey began her journey as a voice artist when she lent her voice in the film ‘Journey Beneath the Sea’ for the character of ‘Merla.’ Thereafter she worked as a voiceover artist in various films like The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride (1998), Scooby-Doo! Mecha Mutt Menace (2013), and All I Want for Christmas Is You (2017). Apart from films, she also her voice in various video games like Nicktoons Racing (2001), Young Justice: Legacy (2013), and series of Star Wars: The Old Republic (2011-2015).

Telefilm

Lacey Chabert made her acting debut with the television film ‘A Little Piece of Heaven’ (1991) in which she played the role of Princess, aka ‘Hazal.’ She gained popularity with the series of Hallmark Channel’s Christmas themed films.
