In 2009, Harry Melling starred in a revival of the play ‘Mother Courage and her Children’ at the Royal National Theatre in which he played the role of Swiss Cheese. In 2014, he came into the spotlight with his playwrighting debut ‘Peddling’ that premiered at the HighTide festival, New York. The play was inspired by Melling’s childhood, when a young boy knocked on the door of his family home in North London, trying to sell them household goods.
