Apoorv Singh Karki was born on Tuesday, 1 November 1988 (age 32 years; as of 2021) in Nanital, Uttarakhand. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Career
Apoorv started his career in 2008 by training officials on Autodesk 3Ds Max at Doordarshan, New Delhi. He trained them on topics like modelling, texturing, lighting, animation, and dynamics. He worked there for around a year and then joined Reliance BIG AIMS, Pune as a writer and director on the live-action short film “Khalish” (2011). The film was awarded the CG Tantra Community Award 2011 for “Best Live-Action Short Film.”
In 2011, he worked as a cinematographer under the director Chandrakant and covered the Anna Hazare mission for a Documentary on Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement. In the same year, he joined Redmat Reves Films Pvt. Ltd. as First Assistant Director and worked on the feature film “With love, Delhi!” (2011).
Subsequently, Apoorv worked as an assistant producer under Mike H.C.Pandey on the TV series “Earth Matters” (2012). He then assisted as a director for the short film “God Knows” (2012). In July 2012, Apoorv joined Gravity Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. and worked as an assistant director for the Bollywood films “Aatma” (2013) and “Akaash Vani” (2013). He also worked as a creative director for the Bollywood films “Ajab Gazabb Love” (2012), “OMG – Oh My God!” (2012), and “Krrish 3” (2013).
In 2014, Apoorv joined The Viral Fever as an associate creative director and worked on the TV mini-series “Change Aayega Hum Layenge.” He was then promoted to creative director and worked on projects like “The Aam Aadmi Family” (2016), “Engineering Girls” (2018), “College Romance” (2018), “Flames” (2018-2019), and “Aspirants” (2021).
He is also the creative head of The Timeliners since 2016.
