Anil Devgan was an Indian film director. He was famous for being the younger brother of popular Indian actor, Ajay Devgn.

His mother Veena Devgan is a film producer. His elder brother is the famous Indian actor Ajay Devgn, and Anil was the brother-in-law of Kajol. He has two sisters- Neelam Devgan and Kavita Devgan. Anil was married and his son’s name is Mir Devgan.
Career
After completing his graduation, his brother Ajay Devgn encouraged him to make his career in Bollywood. In 1996, he started his career as an assistant director in the Hindi film ‘Jeet.’ Later he worked as an assistant director in various Bollywood films including ‘Jaan’ (1996), ‘Itihaas’ (1997), ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’ (1998), and ‘Hindustan Ki Kasam’ (1999). He worked as a director in the Hindi films ‘Raju Chacha’ (2000), ‘Blackmail’ (2005), and ‘Haal-e-dil’ (2008). In 2012, he worked as creative director in the Hindi film ‘Son of Sardaar’ which was also his last film starring his brother, Ajay Devgn. He had deep love for music and was trained in playing Tabla. He was also trained in the martial arts form.
Death
