Romit Raj is an Indian actor. He was born on 9 July 1980 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He mostly works in Hindi movies and tv serials. He made his debut with the serial Shaka Laka Boom Boom in 2003. Romit made his debut in movies with Hum Dum film in 2005. Romit is the only Indian actor to play two roles simultaneously in serials Maayka & Betiyan on Zee TV.

Romit is famous for his role of Varun Zaveri in TV serial Adaalat. Romit was born and brought up in Kolkata. He did his schooling and college studies from Kolkata. He belongs to a Hindu family. His father’s and mother’s name is not known. He also has a brother. Famous tv actress Shilpa Shinde is his ex-fiance. Romit married Tina Kakkar.
