The Top 5 Newbie Tips for CSGO Esports, Including Points, To Know To Become CSGO Player

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO Esports) is a pretty complex game, and it can be difficult for new players to get their bearings. Hence below are few beginner tips that will help you become more effective on the field and which would make you feel like a pro in no time!

Below are the top 5 Newbie Tips for CSGO Esports as promised:-

  • Don’t get frustrated if your kill/death ratio isn’t looking so hot.
  • You can buy different kinds of grenades in the game – find out which grenades suit your play style and buy those when you respawn, don’t just stick with the standard grenades when buying new equipment.
  • Pay attention to the sound when firing a gun – it’s a significant indicator of where your enemy is.
  • Although if you’re stuck in the middle of an intense firefight in CSGO Esports, try to find some cover. It can be challenging when there’s no available cover nearby, but you should do your best not to get shot!
  • Always keep an eye on your teammates – if they need help, it’s a good idea to provide backup or grab a smoke grenade to cover the area they’re in.

Points which every CSGO Esport Player should know before playing it:-

  • If two or more people attack you at the same time, get out of the situation as quickly as possible. This means that if someone is shooting you from behind and someone else is suitable in front of you, move around the guy who’s further away from you.
  • This also applies to situations where one enemy player shoots at your teammate(s) and shoots at you too. What I like to do in this case is get behind my teammate, but make sure the guy shooting at him doesn’t see me. Once he hits at my teammate, he will most likely run away or reload his weapon. At this point, you can quickly kill the unaware enemy player in CSGO Esports.
  • When you die, look on the scoreboard and find out where the enemies are. If you see two or more players from the enemy team together, don’t pick a gun and go hunt them down as fast as possible. You will most likely die if they’re close to each other and have good aim, which is especially common in competitive matches. Try to find a teammate with a similar weapon as yourself so you can go with him and quickly kill the enemy players, or at least make them run away.
  • Remember to continuously compensate for bullet spread in close quarters combat. This means that if an enemy is running towards you, try to aim above his head so your bullets will all hit him when he’s close enough. If you don’t do this, every shot will miss him by a few inches which is the difference between killing him and being killed yourself.
  • Many CSGO Esportplayers already know this, but in order to aim better, you should keep your crosshair at head level for most weapons when in close quarters combat or ADS (aim down sights) in general. One thing that not everyone knows, however, is that when you press “CTRL” to aim down sights, your character will move his gun downwards. If another enemy is coming towards you while you try to aim at the first one, it’s common for players to panic and start moving their crosshairs up and down in order to constantly be aiming at both enemies. This will only make you lose accuracy, and it’s a lot better to just keep your crosshair stationary and wait for the right moment.
